article is an introuductory study on the three activities: cruising, port, and trade were historical realities in Southeast Kalimantan. The result shows a general description that those aspects were the integrated ones. Based on the historical evidences, those aspects were important foundation for wider life of the in habitants settling in Southeast Kalimantan.
